nDot.io Physics Research

Last updated: 13 October 2026

How information is handled when you use the nDot.io Physics Research plugin, its presentation pages and the research API, or contact us.

## Who is responsible

The publisher and controller for the processing described here that it determines is In.Pro.Pre Befektetési Projekt Előkészítő Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (In.Pro.Pre Kft.), 2083 Solymár, Cserje utca 16, Hungary. Contact for privacy requests: [ivan.honis@ndot.io](mailto:ivan.honis@ndot.io). See the [company imprint](https://ndot.io/imprint.html).

## Information used for a research request

ChatGPT sends the plugin the arguments needed for the selected tool, such as a search query, subproject, document, package, equation tag, version or section. These arguments may contain personal information if you include it in your question. The connector also receives a platform-authenticated user identifier to check access.

The connector sends the research request arguments to physics.ndot.io. It does not forward the platform user identifier or automatically transmit your entire conversation to the research API. Please keep queries focused on research and avoid including personal or confidential information.

## Logging and storage

The physics.ndot.io research API does not log requests. The plugin application does not maintain a database of users, conversation history or research requests, and does not implement its own analytics or advertising tracking. Tool arguments and access information are processed as needed to answer the request, without application-level persistent storage.

This statement concerns the research API and plugin application. It is not a claim that the surrounding infrastructure has no logs: OpenAI and the hosting infrastructure, including ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare, may process IP addresses, request times and other technical or security information under their applicable terms and policies. Their retention rules are separate from the API’s no-logging practice.

## Support email

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send, such as your name, message and attachments. We use these to respond and handle your request. Email delivery and storage necessarily involve email service providers.

Our basis for handling support correspondence and necessary access or security information under the GDPR is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating a secure service. Where a legal duty requires processing or retention, that duty is the basis. Support correspondence is retained only while needed to resolve and follow up the enquiry, or for applicable legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; it is then deleted.

## Cookies and service providers

The plugin’s presentation pages do not add analytics or advertising cookies and do not store a language preference in your browser. The language is selected by the page URL. Platform and hosting services may use their own necessary session or security mechanisms.

ChatGPT conversations, account data and platform processing are governed by [OpenAI’s privacy policy](https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/) and, where applicable, its [European privacy policy](https://openai.com/policies/eu-privacy-policy/). Infrastructure processing is also described in [Cloudflare’s privacy policy](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/). Those providers’ policies describe their own recipients, locations, retention and international transfers. This notice does not replace them.

We do not sell personal information or use plugin requests for advertising profiles. The separate corporate website is covered by the [nDot.io corporate privacy notice](https://ndot.io/privacy.html).

## Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests, subject to the conditions in the law. Write to [ivan.honis@ndot.io](mailto:ivan.honis@ndot.io). We may need to verify your identity to protect your information; please do not send identity documents unless requested. Requests about data held independently by OpenAI should be directed to OpenAI.

You may complain to your competent supervisory authority, including the Hungarian [National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH)](https://www.naih.hu/).

## Changes

We will update this notice when the service’s data handling changes and show the revision date above.
